Love staying at Rowden Court. Great facilities, beautiful location. Ellie May 2021
Beautiful quiet location away from it all. Fantastic costal and country walks from the property and a variety of beaches just a drive away. Noss Mayo is a lovely quiet little village. All on all a stunning area! Helen August 2020
We had a fantastic time. The location was excellent with great coastal walks a 15 minute walk away. Lovely beaches within a 10 minute drive. Also the village of Noss Mayo is a 10 minute walk with 2 great pubs that serve excellent food with great views! Would definitely come again!! David August 2020
The cottage was ideally located, within walking distance of the village and the local beach. Noss Mayo and Newton Ferres are lovely villages. The cottage was well equipped, and spacious for the four of us. Although amongst other holiday cottages, it was very quiet and peaceful. Having a tennis court and garden was a plus point. Would recommend a visit to the Swan for a drink and the Dolphin for food. Communication was excellent. Alison was helpful and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend a stay at this cottage. Would stay again. Katherine August 2020
Lovely property, ideally located for exploring the area. Nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Comfortable home for the week. Plenty of games to keep the kids entertained and they made good use of the games room. Visited Stoke, Mothecombe and Bigbury beaches. It is very hilly in the immediate area and the property is at top of a hill. Stoke beach and Noss Mayo are within walking distance but uphill on return journey. Good fish and chips at Brixton. Lunch at The Swan in Noss Mayo was great. Great base with excellent facilities, amazing views and easy access to Plymouth. Samantha August 2020
Lovely little cottage, need a car, but then you have access to all the best bits of Devon. Clean, tidy and everything you need! Ross July 2020
Great place, amazing location, great to stay with a dog! Ed October 2019
This 2 bed cottage is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is in a very quiet location, though the area is quite hilly, but we knew this before we went. There are lovely coastal and estuary walks, expect a rural location. The bed was extremely comfortable and snuggly, plenty of parking space and the surrounding views are lovely. We would recommend it. Vaughan September 2019
Great long weekend, the weather was fantastic and we managed to take in a number of walks and beaches nearby, would definitely stay again. Only word of warning, the surrounding roads are very narrow and not for the faint of heart. Claire April 2019
We all enjoyed our stay at your cottage, with everything we needed, grounds were well maintained and clean. Should have probably stayed a bit longer to take in all the walks. Definitely would book again. Marion September 2018
Lovely and quiet and so close to a beautiful area that we have never visited. Fantastic walks and beaches! The cottage was clean and comfortable. Elizabeth August 2018
Beautiful location. A most relaxing place with stunning views, plenty to do and see. Enjoyed Newton Ferrers Regatta with local friends, gorgeous food at The Ship and Dolphin. Great kayaking and body boarding at Bigbury on Sea and Stoke Beach. Lovely Cottage! Michele August 2017
We had fantastic weather so to sit outside with a morning cuppa was a good start to the day. The birds and the cows mooing made me feel very restful along with the peacefulness of Mumpys Cottage. Overall an excellent week visiting nearby Mothercombe Beach and Kitley House for a cream Tea. Can't wait until next year so we can come back. Veronica June 2017
A lovely holiday in a lovely setting. A well-cared for garden right infront of the cottage and just a ten minute walk down to Noss Mayo. Great access to the coastal path and we were able to do walks straight from the cottage, so didn't always need to use the car. Easy to get to other places too, such as Bigbury and Dartmouth. Even played Table Tennis and Darts in the Games room! Thank you for a very enjoyable week away! Kathryn September 2016
We really enjoyed our week in Mumpys cottage. It was clean, very well equipped and had everything that could be needed for us and our 6 year old. Ideally sized for a small family, the property is one of a number of holiday rental properties surrounding a small courtyard. The back of Mumpys cottage overlooked the gardens. We used it as a base to explore south Devon. Noss Mayo is a lovely waterside village, and if you have children you can sit outside The Swan and watch the kids go crabbing next to you in Noss creek. A short drive away is Mothecombe beach which is excellent, and has both sand and rock pools. The cafe at the car park there has good food, reasonably priced, that you can take away. I would certainly recommend the property to family and friends. Andrew August 2016
Good clean accommodation, dog friendly within a superb location. The facilities of the gardens with picnic tables and Tennis Court are especially nice. I have been to this specific site for three years now so would obviously recommend the site location and general area of Devon. Simon August 2016
We had a lovely time in your cottage. It was very clean, had all the utilities one needed and more. It is not far from the beach, which we walked to and there is a costal walk which we enjoyed which was approximately 8 miles. The cottage is in a very quiet location with lovely gardens, tennis courts and ample parking. We would definitely recommend this cottage and hopefully in the future will stay there again.
